**Sidenote: Wrote this August 24th. Forgot to Publish!Today starts a new era in our Robertson Family! I just sent Alyssa on the bus to Kindergarten! It is so exciting, and a little bittersweet to see her little legs step up those big steps of the school bus! She was so excited she could hardly wait for this new adventure!
There is a refreshing burst of air being around someone who is so ready and excited to conquer whatever experience comes her way! She goes after things with an attitude that I so admire. I am proud to be her mom and her excitement has elevated my own, when I am prone to hug her tight and never let her go!
I hope for her...
That Kindergarten contains all of the happiness, excitement, and fun that she expects out of it.
That school will continue to raise her self-esteem and confidence.
That she will find the perfect practice ground for the many lessons we have tried to instill in her. Caring for others, being kind, being helpful, learning, & growing (plus the many, many more!)
Success comes in spades and that failure is rare, but learned from.
Good luck to my sweet little five year old who is so ready to take life by the horns! I love you so much.
